目前DNF中最大的宠物是2014年春节礼包中包含的年度宠物。因为是第一次出现这么巨大的宠物，所以很多玩家都抱着好奇的心情购买了它。后来他们发现太大了，甚至影响了绘画过程。体验久了之后，很多人都下载了补丁，把它改成了迷你麒麟。 2014年度套装中有两种宠物。无论是光明圣麒麟，还是清明圣麒麟，它们的形状都是一样的。由于清明圣麒麟的属性比光明圣麒麟差，所以大多数玩家都选择购买光明圣麒麟的礼包，而现在清明圣麒麟的身影几乎已经不见踪影。
不出所料，DNF中的第二大宠物就是龙女。龙女是2013年春节礼包中的年度宠物。共有四种，按颜色和名称区分。它们只是人类形态的宠物，而且模型都是一样大小的。虽然龙女已经连续13年成为年度大热门，但后来也在魔盒中被开启，甚至在最近的每周抽奖奖励中都有概率被释放。
兔子精灵是DNF首款人形宠物，也是2011年春节礼包中的年度宠儿。不过，这个礼包也是DNF史上最贵的礼包。对应的宠物非常有良心，给人一种哇的感觉，而且兔子精灵的终极技能范围很广，就像炮手的激光炮技能一样。这么酷的宠物在当时还是第一次出现。
贝尔斯普特是早期进化宠物，从魔法盒中获得。这只宠物仍然可以从当前的魔法箱中获得。当我第一次获得宠物蛋时，我打开了一个看起来像豆芽的非常小的宠物，这让当时的很多玩家感到失望。如果一直佩戴，当达到指定等级时，你会发现会出现新的宠物任务。接受任务后，贝莱斯可以进化成普通的豆芽。达到指定等级后，会出现新的宠物任务。完成后，最终会进化为巨型宠物。此时的形态是你当时绝对想象不到的，而且外观非常酷。
